Digital Marketing for Roofers
Wouldn't it be amazing to open your eyes in the morning and be delighted with the digital marketing campaign for your roofing company.
Roofing Digital Marketing
For contractors who have not decided which channel they need yet. We will tell you which one fits your position — including when the answer is not the one we would rather sell you.
Most roofing marketing fails for one of three reasons
The channel was wrong for the situation
A contractor with no pipeline and payroll due next month does not need a twelve-month SEO programme. A contractor with steady work and a rising cost per lead does not need more paid clicks. Selling the same package to both is how agencies get fired.
Nothing was tracked, so nothing was provable
No call tracking, no form attribution, no idea which channel produced which job. This is how contractors end up switching agencies annually without ever learning what worked.
The seasonality was ignored
Roofing demand arrives in spikes tied to weather. Marketing built on a flat monthly calendar misses every one of them, then reports steady impressions as though that were the point.
What's included
The full scope, so you can compare it against whatever else you have been quoted.
How it runs
Concrete sequence. It is a guarantee of order, not of outcome — nobody can honestly promise the second one.
Diagnosis
Free audit plus a conversation about your pipeline. The output is a recommendation, which sometimes is 'do not hire us yet'.
Tracking and quick wins
Attribution installed, Google Business Profile fixed, obvious technical blockers cleared.
The primary channel
Whichever one the diagnosis pointed at, built properly rather than spread thin across all of them.
Layering
Second channel added once the first is producing and measurable.
What we report
Monthly, and weighted toward things that turn into work rather than things that look good on a chart.
- Cost per leadBy channel, so you can see which one is actually cheaper
- Lead to job rateWhere your CRM will give us the data
- Channel mixHow dependent you are on any single source
- Seasonal captureWhether you captured the storm windows in your region
Questions we get asked
What does roofing digital marketing include?
At minimum: tracking and attribution, local visibility, organic search, paid search, and a website that converts. Which of those you need first depends on your pipeline, not on what an agency wants to sell.
Should I do SEO or Google Ads first?
If you need booked jobs this month, paid. If your pipeline is stable and you want to lower cost per lead over the next year, SEO. Most established contractors should eventually run both, with paid funding the wait.
How much should a roofing company spend on marketing?
The useful version of that question is what a lead is worth to you and what your close rate is. Work backwards from job value rather than picking a percentage of revenue out of the air.
Do you handle social media?
Not as a standalone service. For roofing it is a trust and referral channel rather than a lead channel, and we would rather point you to someone who does it well than take the retainer.
The other three
Most contractors need more than one eventually. The audit decides the order, and it is rarely the order you expect.
